| Media Buyer / Planner We are currently looking for an experienced Media Buyer / Planner to join our Media department. As media buyer / planner you will be responsible for compiling and developing strategic and cost effective campaigns that will reach the greatest number of people in our clients’ target audience. You will support our team of Account Directors through the planning/buying of all forms of media, including. - Digital - Press - TV - Radio - Outdoor - Direct Mail The key responsibilities of this role are: - Managing relationships and negotiating with media owners and networks to ensure best rates possible - You will work closely with the other internal departments, including the creative team and the account directors to make sure that copy for all media bookings is distributed correctly and on time - Make sure that the adverts run accurately so the desired media message is seen and heard by consumers - Recommending the most appropriate types of media to use, as well as the most effective time periods, duration of delivery, locations, frequency etc of media placement - Work to deadlines and manage expectations - Manage post campaign analysis and buying reviews - Ensure all media schedules are maintained during the buying process You will need to have the following skills and experience: • 2+ years in a media planning/buying role within a media agency or have worked within a media organisation |
